Plant 4 feet out from any foundation. Weigela's have a shallow root system that goes about 12" deep. Water once a week deeply for about 20-30 minutes. Prune in spring after it's done flowering. Use Bone Meal when you first plant and don't fertilize for the first two years. Fertilize once a year in spring with a balanced fertilizer.
