Perennial herb: Also known as English Thyme.  Perfect with many roasted meat dishes. Commonly used in egg, cheese or shellfish dishes.  Grows to 15-30 cm (6-12") tall.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start indoors and transplant outside when the danger of frost is past.  Space 2.5 cm (1") apart and sow 3 mm (1/8") deep in a sunny location with average soil.

Comments: Zones 4-9 hardy.  For drying, cut plants just before flowers open.
