Lavender Seed Packets


Perennial Herb: Flowers are dried and used in sachets and potpourri.  The plants make a wonderfully fragrant addition to the garden.  Grows to 30 cm (12") tall.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start inside and transplant after danger of frost is passed.  Space 2.5 cm (1") apart and barely cover them in a sunny site with average soil.

Comments: Zones 5-9 hardy.  Some winter protection needed at the northern end of its range.
