    Uses Notes:

This salvia works equally well in landscapes and containers and blooms for months on end. It is self-cleaning; no deadheading is needed to keep the plants in bloom from spring to frost and they have a far cleaner look than others of this type.

White is a highly attractive color for pollinating bees, and these blossoms provide a continuous source of nectar for them as well as butterflies and hummingbirds.

    Maintenance Notes:

This is a wonderful annual salvia that is compact and richly colored. It is easy and trouble-free, blooming all season without stopping. It is a big attractor of pollinating bees who love its sweet nectar.

You can easily trim to keep the shape or size where you want it, and it will branch out and become even thicker and more full of flowers, although that should not be necessary.

Regular watering and fertilizing will keep the plant looking its best. It is amazingly tough. Once established in a pot or the garden, it will tolerate lower levels of food and water. However, severe drought will cause the lower leaves to drop. If this happens, give it a quick haircut by removing the upper third of growth to encourage fresh foliage to fill back in.
