Tomato Seed Packets - Pink Ponderosa

Days to Harvest: 85. Large, flat, purplish-pink fruit on this low acid variety. Fruit have small seed cavities, lots of meat and gentle mild taste.

Sowing: Start indoors in a soilless medium 6-8 weeks before last frost. Germinate at 21-24C (70-75F). Transplant 4 cm (2") seedlings to own containers and grow under 16-21C (60-70F) lights. Transplant to loose organic soil in a sunny site in mid to late May.

Comments: Fertilizer high in phosphorus and potash but low in nitrogen recommended. Water the soil, not the leaves. Staking required.
