Peppermint is entirely edible however it is also very useful for colour in containers or for late season colour in the garden.

Sowing: In a sunny spot, sow seeds in successive crops every 2 weeks from mid spring until early summer.

Comments: Harvest outer leaves first by cutting off at the base of the stem then working towards the centre. Harvest regularly for a continuous supply of tender new growth.
