Sweet Corn Seed Packets - Sunnyvee

Days to Harvest: 60. Short sturdy plants produce ears that average 18 cm (7") long. Excellent variety for freezing.

Sowing: Sow seeds after all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed to at least 13C (55F). To avoid plant stresses at silking, make several plantings 7-10 days apart. Plant 3 rows for proper pollination.

Comments: Sufficient watering is particularly important at flowering and when the cobs begin to fill. Ears taste best when picked just before cooking.
