Days to Harvest: 80. The hard, dark green shell of this heritage pepper squash hides pale yellow, exceedingly sweet flesh. Acorn shaped fruits are roughly 15 cm (6") in diameter. An excellent keeper.
Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in late May and June. Can be started indoors in paper or fibre pots 3 weeks earlier.
Comments: Harvest after vine dies or rind hardens and dulls in colour. Gather before frost, leaving part of stem attached to fruit.
