Tree Seed Perennials: This is a prized lawn specimen and one of the most popular ornamentals.

Sowing: Seeds are best planted in a cold frame in fall for spring germination. For early spring sowings indoors, sow seeds in trays, moisten, then place trays outdoors in cold for 3 weeks. Bring back in and place under growing lights. Freezing temperatures well not hurt seeds.
