Perennial Herb: Thick spinach like leaves add lemony zest to salads, soups and sauces. Grows to 45 cm (18") tall.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start indoors and transplant outside when the danger of frost is past.  Space 8 cm (3") apart and sow 1 cm (1/2") deep in a sunny location with average soil.  Row space 45 cm (18") apart.

Comments: Zones 4-8 hardy.  Cut shoots before flowers open.
