Smoke Bush 'Winecraft Gold' (PW)

Cotinus coggygria 'Winecraft Gold' - A beaming beacon for the landscape. Bold, bright, and beautiful: that's Winecraft Gold™ Smokebush. Round, waxy leaves emerge a sunny orange, soon take on a golden hue, then mature to a cheerful chartreuse for the season. In early summer, cloud-like green flower clusters cover the plant, and these turn into the pink "smoke" plumes that earn the plant its name. Naturally grows with a dense, oval shape that's ideal for adding a spot of bright color to partially shaded or sunny areas. They have shallow fibrous roots and grows about 1-2' per year. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once or twice a week for about 10 minutes whether it rains or not.

Zone 4. 1.75m W x 2.5m H. Dense, oval shape. White/Pink flowers in June. Soft pink fruit on golden yellow foliage turning orange-red in the fall. Full sun. Well drained soil. 2Gallon.
