Showy Evening Primrose Seed Packets - Oenothera Speciosa

Perennial: Despite its common name, this is definitely a day flowering plant. It is compact but loaded with 5 cm (2") pink flowers on upright stems.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in full sun or light shade in well-drained soil in mid-May. Lightly cover seeds with soil. Readily reseeds. Thrives in hot, dry soils.

Comments: Well suited to rock gardens and low borders.
