Thin-leaves coneflower or three-leaved coneflower, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae with numerous, yellow, daisy like flowers. It is native to the central and Eastern United States and is often seen in old fields or along roads.
A bushy biennial or short lived perennial wildflower. Leaves are toothed and pubescent with three lobes. From mid-summer until autumn plants are crowned with a profusion of dainty daisies. Individual flowers are 1-2” across with dark brown centres and bright yellow rays. Plants thrive in sunny sites with moist or dry soil.
