Hibiscus syriacus 'Minerva' - Early summer bloomer that can last late into the fall. Flower is attractive to bee, butterflies and birds. Roots are shallow at 1.5' deep. They grow about 1-2' per year. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once or twice a week for about 10 minutes whether is rains or not. SOLD AS AN ANNUAL!

Zone 5b. 1.5m W x 3m H. Upright, multi-stemmed shape. Lavender-pink single flowers in July and September. Capsule fruit on green foliage turning yellow in the fall. Full sun to part shade. Moist, peat soil. 1Gallon.
