Ricinus communis ‘Zanzibariensis’ (Castor Bean Plant) is a bold, architectural plant with exceptionally large, bright green leaves which is perfect for the back of borders. In late summer, it produces clusters of vivid red flowers, creating a dramatic focal point in the garden.

Caution: The seeds are toxic if ingested, always wash hands after handling. If left on the plant into late autumn, seed pods will readily scatter, potentially self-seeding in the garden.
