Days to Harvest: 120. This sweet heritage variety has a deep orange skin and thick, fine-grained, deep yellow flesh. Regularly produces 11 kg (28 lb.) pumpkins up to 50 cm (20") in diameter that have a flat globular shape with little ribbing. Great for pies.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in late May and June. Can be started indoors in paper or fibre pots 3 weeks earlier.

Comments: Before planting, dig in well rotted manure or organic matter. Prevent rot by protecting mature pumpkins from frost or freezing temperatures.
