Pond planting mesh baskets.

These baskets are specialy designed to allow water to enter the basket and let the fine plant roots grow through the fine mesh basket and into the pond.

Aquatic plants need a specially blended soil that encourages the plants to grow well but not encourage algaes to grow.

Aquatic soil also adds weight to the basket so the plants dont get blown off the shelves.

We recommend you line your baskets with hessian.

Squares of hessian are available in the shop.

This helps to reduce any soil leaking out of the basket but does not stop the fine plant roots.
