A very low growing, ground cover-type species with needle-like foliage that is showiest when planted on slopes, among rocks, towards the front of the border, or along pathways.

This  series produces star-shaped, notched flowers that cover a round, spreading habit. Moderate growers in the first year but becomes ground cover with age. Bright, medium pink flowers with small, dark purple star-shaped eye.
