This is an easy and outstanding perennial. Tolerant of harsh conditions. Clumps may be easily divided in spring or fall. Flowers are attractive to butterflies.

Perennial of the Year 1996! Forms a sturdy mound of leaves, beet-red during the spring and fall, greener in summer. Upright stems of very pale pink, tubular flowers appear during the summer months.
