Siberian irises prefer moist to boggy soil. They tend to bloom after the German iris and before the Japanese iris. Their slender, spiky leaves add wonderful texture to a landscape.

3-5” flowers have rich wine purple standards and falls with lighter purple-blue styles. Semi-flaring falls display prominent white and yellow signals with purple veining.
