When planting German Irises, be sure to leave the top 25-50% of the rhizome exposed above soil level. Water sparingly and avoid excess moisture during fall and winter.

Very large, dark blue standards and falls are reminiscent of magnificent waterfalls. White beards are highlighted by a patch of white in the centre of each pale blue fall, mimicking the glimmer of sunlight off rushing water. Re-bloomer.
