Days to Harvest: 65. Dwarf bushy plant grows about 45 cm (18") high. Fruit is about 15 cm (6") long, 5 cm (2") at the shoulder and slightly tapered at the bottom. Ripens from a waxy yellow to bright red. Firm, pungent flesh is good fried or pickled.
Sowing: Start indoor mid-February to late March in a soilless medium. Grow seedlings under bright light at 16-21C (60-70F). Transplant after hardening off in late May.
Comments: Keep evenly watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers. Harvest after colour changes for best taste and quality. SHUnit 4000.
