Oriental Poppy Seed Packets - Checkers

$2.99

Perennial: This perennial poppy is a real winner! Pure white, crepe paper like blooms are marked inside with a contrasting cross of deepest black.

Sowing: Sow seed indoors in early March. Press seed into the growing medium but do not cover, as light is essential for germination - keep at 20C (70F). After germination, which can take 14-28 days, grow on under lights at 16C (60F). Harden off seedlings then plant outside after danger of frost has passed. Seed can also be directly sown in the garden from May to mid-July.

Comments: For best results, plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Select the site with care, as poppies do not like to be disturbed once planted.
