Oregano Seed Packets

Perennial herb: This popular herb is a must in Italian, Spanish and Mexican cuisine.  Terrific in most tomato dishes.  Grows to 75 cm (30") tall.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start them inside and transplant after danger of frost is past.  Space seeds as thinly as possible and sow 6 mm (1/4") deep in a sunny site with average soil.

Comments: For drying, cut top of stems 16cm (6") before flowers open.
