Morus alba ‘Pendula’ - The fruiting variety of weeping mulberry. Makes an excellent accent to any landscape. Mulberries have shallow rooting systems that can cause damage to driveways and other paved surfaces as the trees grow and they can grow up to 1' per year. Prune in spring after it's finished flowering. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes whether is rains or not. Plant at least 3-4 feet from any foundation.

Zone 4. 5m W x 150cm-stem H. Ornamental, weeping shape with white to purple fruit. Catkin like flowers on green foliage turning yellow in the fall. Full sun to part shade. Adaptable soil.

Attracts pollinators. Not deer resistant.
