Zone 4  The tall spires of Lupines are an unforgettable sight in the early summer border. Plants grow best in a deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. As these are biennial or short-lived perennials, allow some plants to set seed for future generations. Trim foliage back after flowers are finished. 

A mass of sturdy upright flower spikes that reach up 24-36”. These spikes reveal periwinkle blue and white flowers.
