6” Hanging Basket

The Crassula marginalis variegata (often sold as the Variegated Jade or Lemon and Lime Jade) is a slow-growing, highly ornamental succulent. It features fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves marked with silvery-white, creamy-yellow, and pale-green stripes. Under bright sunlight, the edges can develop vibrant pink or red margins.
To keep your Variegated Jade thriving, you should follow these care guidelines:
  • Light: Place in at least 4 hours of bright, indirect to direct light daily to maintain the best leaf coloration. Morning sun combined with afternoon shade is ideal.
  • Water: Water thoroughly, but only when the soil is completely dry. This typically means every 2–4 weeks, depending on your indoor humidity and temperature. In the winter, reduce watering drastically.
  • Soil & Potting: Use a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix amended with extra perlite or coarse sand. Ensure your pot has drainage holes, as overwatering will cause root rot.
  • Temperature: Keep the environment between 15–24°C (60–75°F)
