Hibiscus Summer Carnival
1GALLON POT
(Rose Mallow)
Full Sun.
Zone 4 Hibiscus is a warm season plant and does not grow until the soil is warm therefore patience is required in the spring for this beauty to wake up – in southern Ontario is approximately mid –June. Excellent in the sunny border with large Alliums which die back just as the hibiscus is starting to grow.
Unlike other variegated varieties, 'Summer Carnival' displays excellent vigor, has great flower coverage, and forms a beautifully shaped habit. 7", dark magenta pink flowers cover the upright, rounded habit. Each leaf has a narrow cream margin and the edges have a hint of blush. The perfect collector's item!
