Calluna vulgaris 'Alicia' - The white buds are fragrant and cluster along the branches. Bud Bloomer. Buds August to December. The buds do not open but stay on the plant for a long time. They have very shallow root systems and grows at a very slow rate. Prune in spring after flowering is done. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes whether is rains or not. Plant at least 3-4 feet from any foundation. 

Zone 4. 40cm W x 30cm H. Insignificant fruit. White flowers on green foliage. Low spreading habit. Full sun to part shade. Well drained, acid loving soil. 1Gallon.

Attracts pollinators and bees. Deer resistant.
