Perennial - Large 12-18 cm (5-7") flowers in yellow, mahogany and bi-colours, all with black-brown centres, are perennial favourites.
Sowing - Start seeds 8-10 weeks early indoors. Germinate for 14-21 days at 21C (70F). Grow on at 15C (60F). Sow outdoors in summer for blooms next year. Scatter seeds thinly and cover lightly in furrow 4 mm (1/4") deep.
Comments - Showy in flower beds among other green plants. Long lasting i the garden or as a cut flower.
