Garlic - Purple Russian
A marble purple stripe variety that is hot but not scorching. The storage capacity is mid to long term storage. The bulb contains 6 cloves on average.
The distinctive wrapper leaves of these big bulbs are slightly purple. It is very spicy eaten raw but mellows when cooked and the garlicky flavour is richly complex.
