Flowering Dogwood Tree Seeds

Perennial: One of Canada's most beautiful native trees. Known for large snow-white bracts in spring and vibrant red autumn fruit. An endangered species in the wild reaching 3-10m. Ideal for sheltered sites and multi-season interest.

Sowing: Requires 12-20 weeks of cold stratification. Best sown 1cm deep outdoors in late fall for spring sprout. For indoor starts refrigerate in moist pear for 3-5 months. Transplant to a sheltered spot with moist acidic soil.
