The Red Ryder garden mum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is a popular mounding perennial cultivar known for its profuse, deep red decorative autumn blooms. Originally bred by Ball Seed, it reaches 14 to 24 inches in height and spreads up to 36 inches, providing vibrant mid-to-late season fall color.
