Stephanandra incisa 'Crispa' - Cutleaf Stephanandra - Makes an excellent bank or ground cover. Tends to root where branches touch the ground. Prune back once a year in spring. They have a shallow, extensive, highly branched root system. They grow 6-12” per year. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. No need to fertilize until the next year. Fertilize with a balanced granular fertilizer once a year. They have a shallow spreading root system. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes to encourage root depth whether it rains or not. Do not plant any deeper than what it is in the pot. Do not add any more soil or mulch to the base of the stem.

Zone 4. 2m W x 60cm H. Low, spreading shape. Yellow-White flowers in May and June. Insignificant fruit on bright green foliage turning a red-orange fall colour. Full sun to part shade. Moist, well drained, acid soil. 3Gallon.
