An excellent small landscape tree with a broad and upright growth habit. This crabapple tree rarely produces ornamental fruit, but it produces masses of bright pink blooms that act as accents to the foliage. The foliage is a bronzy-red color that will turn green upon maturity, and then orange in Fall. Zone 3
Little pruning is required though prune broken or damaged limbs. Water regularly as needed, and feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer. Adapts to a wide range of soils. Prune after danger of extreme cold has passed.
