Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Bluecrop’ - An upright cultivar, this plant turns fiery-red in the fall. Large, sweet, flavourful, powder-blue berries. Extremely drought resistant. Yields 10-20 lbs per plant about 1 to 2 years after planting. Partially self-fertile. Plant two varieties for greater fruit production. Blueberries have a shallow root system. Prune in early spring.

Zone 4. 125cmH x 80cmW. Bright Blue fruit. Blooms in April. Harvest in July. Full sun. Well-drained, acidic soil. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 5-10 minutes whether is rains or not.
