This butterhead type is very slow to bolt to seed. Large open heads to 454g (1 lb). Frilled green leaves have a bronze tinge with a cream colored heart. Makes a crisp colourful addition to any salad. Good for small space gardens.
Sowing : Sow seeds in a sunny site in successive crops every 2 weeks from April to August as long as weather is cool.
