Aglaonema Red Emerald
10" POT
The 'Red Emerald' Chinese Evergreen (also known as 'Red Peacock') is a striking variety featuring dark forest-green leaves shot through with electric-red veins. It’s a standout for anyone wanting a more vibrant, high-contrast look. Like the rest of its family, it’s a NASA-recognized air purifier and extra hardy, making it a great choice for offices and various interiors.
Water once approx. half of the soil has dried out. You can test using your finger, a chopstick, or a moisture meter — the middle of the pot should feel dry before watering. Allowing 50–70% of the soil to dry promotes strong roots and balanced growth.
Watering needs change with light, humidity, and season. Plants dry faster in bright light or summer, slower in winter. Always water thoroughly until it drains, but never let roots sit in standing water.
This plant tolerates low light well. Great for spaces farther from windows, North-facing rooms, or areas with mostly artificial light. It still needs some natural light and will grow best with in medium light.
This plant requires moderate humidity. Most households should be fine at around 30-40%. It will be happy with more as well.
