6"HB Prayer Plant - Red

Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura, referred to as the red prayer plant, is one of the more common of the prayer plants. These beauties sport dark green leaves and red veins radiating outward from a light green-blotched central leaf vein. The backside of each leaf is a wine-stained red.

These pet-friendly plants move throughout the day, giving them their folk name of prayer plants, as their leaves look like hands folding in prayer. Gorgeous colouring and a really neat plant family to collect.

Medium to lower light, needs high humidity, keep soil moist but never soggy. Curling leaves = more humidity, please!
