An ideal houseplant and very on trend due to its unique growth habits. Develops a vertical stem where round leaves form a dome like coverage often turning to catch as much light as possible. Pilea are said to bring good luck and fortune, hence the common name Chinese money plant.

Grows best in a premium potting mix in areas of great natural light indoors. Can tolerate early morning sun but not for prolonged periods.

Ensure soil doesn’t dry out completely between watering but be sure not to over water if soil is already damp. Fertilize twice a year with an all-purpose slow release fertilizer. Rotate monthly to encourage even growth.
