2.5" Venus Fly Trap

$12.99

Sun

Venus fly traps do best in bright, indirect sunlight. They can benefit from a few hours of direct sunlight, but too much direct sunlight will cause them to burn up. They can go outside in a shaded area for the Summer, but should be brought in when the temperature cools.

Watering

Keep the medium your plant grows in moist at all times. Don’t allow it to dry out between waterings, but also do not allow them to sit in water to prevent root rot. Remember, these plants are from a swamp, so high humidity is important! Occasionally mist them or grow them on a misting tray to help.

Feeding

Because these plants are from a swamp, they’ve adapted to a lack of nutrients in the soil by eating flies and other insects! Your Venus fly trap will feed itself, but if your home is lacking flies, you can always feed them a fly or cricket every once in a while.
