Willow ‘Golden Weeping’

Salix alba ‘Tristis’ - Leaves are bright green on top and silvery on the bottom. Fast growing. Needs room to grow. Yellow bark. Will grow about 3-4' each year. The root system usually reaches the same depth and width and the upper portion of the bush. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes whether is rains or not. 

Zone 4. 18m W x 12m H. Weeping form. No fruit. Catkin-like flowers on bright green foliage turning yellow in the fall. Full sun. Moist soil.

Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
