Viburnum lantana - Fruit changes from red to black in September. Used for hedges, screens, shrub borders and massing. Foliage persists into late fall. Shallow spreading and densely branched, very extensive root system, formation of root suckers. Grows 20-40cm each year. Prune in spring after flowering. Plant 4' away from any foundation. Water deeply once a week for 20-30 min. Use Bone Meal when you first plant and no fertilizer needed for the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced water soluble fertilizer. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes to encourage root depth. Don't plant any deeper than it is in the pot and don't add any soil or mulch around the base of the trunk.

Zone 4. 5m W x 5m H. Multi-stemmed, rounded shape. White flowers in June. Red to black fruit on blue-green foliage turning purple-red in the fall. Full sun to full shade. Well drained soil. 3Gallon.
