Viburnum 'Fragrant Snowball'
Viburnum x carlcephalum - Pink buds open to fragrant white flowers. Fruit changes from red to black. Prune in spring after flowering. Plant 4' away from any foundation. Shallow root system. Water deeply once a week for 20-30 min. Use Bone Meal when you first plant and no fertilizer needed for the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced water soluble fertilizer. Grows up to 1-2' per year. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes to encourage root depth. Don't plant any deeper than it is in the pot and don't add any soil or mulch around the base of the trunk.
Zone 5. 2.3m W x 2.3m H. Rounded shape. White flowers in May. Red to black fruit on dark green foliage turning red-purple in the fall. Full sun to part shade. Moist, well drained, acidic soil. 3Gallon.
