Honeysuckle 'Dropmore Scarlet'

Lonicera x brownii 'Dropmore Scarlet' - Vigorous twiner excellent for a trellis or arbour. Flowers are tubular. Remove unwanted stems when flowering is over. Prune in spring. They have a shallow root system going 6-12" but can reach 40" inches on a dry site. They are fast growing. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 10 minutes whether is rains or not. Plant at least 3-4 feet from any foundation.

Zone 2. 5m. Climbing habit. Blue-green foliage with scarlet flowers in June to September. Full sun to part shade. Fertile soil. 1Gallon.

Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
