Viburnum trilobum 'Bailey Compact' - A very attractive garden detail shrub which is covered in clusters of pure white pinwheel flowers in spring, red fruit and good red fall color, golden stems; denser and more compact than the species, hardy and adaptable, makes a great natural low hedge. The berries are also edible and can be used for Cranberry sauce. Grows up to 1-2' per year. Prune in spring. Plant 4' from any foundation. Use Bone Meal when planting and no need to fertilize for the first year. Fertilize with a balanced fertilize once a year. Their root system is woody and shallow and branching. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes to encourage root depth. Don't plant any deeper than it is in the pot and don't add any soil or mulch around the base of the trunk.

Zone 2. 1.25m W x 2m H. Compact, rounded shape. White flowers in May. Scarlet fruit on dark green foliage (turns brick red in spring) turning orange in the fall. Full sun to part shade. Moist, well drained soil. 3Gallon.
