Cherry 'Carmine Jewel'

Prunus 'Carmine Jewel' - A multi-stemmed, hardy dwarf cherry draped in stunning white flowers in spring before the leaves. Dark green foliage throughout the season followed by a yellow colour in fall. Fruits are good sized, tart crimson red in mid summer that are used for their edible purposes such as baking or canning.

Zone 3. 1.5m H x 1.5m W. Full sun. Moist, well drained soil. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem. Water deeply once a week for about 20-30 minutes whether is rains or not.
