Native to Southeast Asia and India, this low-maintenance Hoya variety is perfect for hanging baskets or trellises, offering a cascading effect with its slender foliage and fragrant, star-shaped flowers.

Hoya Shepherdii is a trailing or climbing plant with long, slender, and slightly curved leaves resembling string beans. Its glossy green leaves create a striking visual display, especially when paired with hanging planters.

This Hoya produces clusters of small, star-shaped flowers that are creamy-white with pink centers, emitting a sweet fragrance during bloom. It can grow up to 6-8 feet indoors with proper care.

Light Requirements

Hoya Shepherdii thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may produce fewer flowers. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
