Tomatillo Seed Packets - Super Verde

Days to Harvest: 65. (Tomatillo Type). Determinate plants tend to ramble and produce lush dense growth. Abundant green fruit are formed within a papery husk. Young fruit is tart becoming sweeter with age.

Sowing: Start indoors in a soilless medium 6-8 weeks before last frost. Transplant 5 cm (2") seedlings to own containers and grow under bright light at 16-21C (60-70F). Harden off before transplanting to a sunny site in mid to late May.

Comments: Harvest when paper-like husks begin to dry out to a light tan colour later in the summer. A second plant is required to enhance pollination and ensure fruit set.
