Sweet Corn Seed Packets - Big Jim III
Days to Harvest: 72. Exceptionally large 22 cm (9") ears with 16-18 rows of plump golden kernels have superb flavour and holding ability. Freezes well. Tolerant to Stewarts Wilt.
Sowing: Sow seeds 7-10 days after all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed to at least 16C (60F). To avoid plant stresses at silking, make several plantings 7-10 days apart. Plant 3 rows for proper pollination.
Comments: Sufficient watering is particularly important at flowering and when the cobs begin to fill. Ears taste best when picked just before cooking.
